The Hotel Voramaris convinced that hunger in a world of such abundance is a scandal, and is committed to the world of cooperation. We therefore house the offices of the Valencia Community delegation of the NGO Acción Contra el Hambre. And it does this free of charge, as well as donating 0.7% of its profits to the organization. Throughout the year, it carries out different activities for collecting funds and raising awareness in its surroundings.

ACCION CONTRA EL HAMBRE (ACTION AGAINST HUNGER) is an international, non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-confessional, non lucrative organization founded in 1979 in order to fight against hunger. Acción contra el Hambre provides support for populations living in a severe state of malnutrition, epidemics, marginalization and violence, with four fundamental areas of work: nutrition, food safety, health and water.

All of the programmes run by Acción contra el Hambre are intended to enable their beneficiaries to recover their independence as soon as possible, as well as the necessary means for living without depending on outside assistance. In emergency situations, the ACH teams assist the most vulnerable populations: children, women, the elderly, displaced populations, and refugees.

In carrying out its activities, ACH respects the principles of independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free direct access to victims, professionalism and transparency.
